Smith Street Stage debuted its Shakespeare in Brooklyn’s Carroll Park in 2010. Since then, the talented theater company has gained legions of devoted audience members and supporters and expanded its year-round programming. As it continues to explore new ways to deliver on its mission—”to tell classic stories in new ways through affordable, exciting and consequential theater arts”—its leadership turned to Upper Notch to coordinate the design and production of a compelling marketing brochure and high-quality promotional materials for 2018’s summer Shakespeare production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” The resulting pieces, including a brochure, a subway ad, a banner, a poster, and a postcard, showcase the group’s creativity while presenting key information to busy city dwellers.
